About Advisory Compass
Governments publish travel advice for their own citizens, and they often disagree. Advisory Compass puts that advice side by side, so you can see where governments agree, where they differ, and why.
Sources and attribution
All advice belongs to the governments that publish it. We show short quotes with attribution and always link to the original.

For website operators
Our crawler identifies itself as AdvisoryCompassBot and links to this page. It follows robots.txt, including Crawl-delay, and makes at most two requests at a time to a site. Where a site publishes update dates, it re-fetches only the pages that changed, plus one full refresh each night.
To opt out, add User-agent: AdvisoryCompassBot and Disallow: / to your robots.txt.
